Sired by our handsome Bayda, and out of talented Tru, Little Trick is a dynamo! Born July 20, 2003, Trick weighed 14.2 ozs and was 3rd born in a litter of 5. Her puppy name was 'AMAZE'...call it a premonition!
Sept 20/09 ..MACH 2 ! Sandy and Trick started the weekend on Saturday with a Double Q, with a 1st place in JWW and a 2nd in STD, in the very competitive 20" class. Then on Sunday..THEY DID IT! With a huge crowd watching, and a brilliant run, Trick took 1st place..and her MACH 2! Congratulations to Sandy to our MACH 2 CEDAR TURN IT UP..We are very happy and very proud of both of you!
Sept 6/09-Trick had another terrific weekend, amongster tough competion. Closing in on her MACH 2, Trick had 2 more double Q's. Placements were decided between 100ths of a second, and Trick came away with a class win, and a couple of 2nds and 3rd. One run was 7.1 yps! . Great job, Sandy and Trick!
Sept 4/09- Sandy and Trick have been invited to the BCSA Top 20 Agility Competition , to be held in Jefferson, WI. We are thrilled that Trick and Rizzo, both Tru puppies, make 2 Cedar Border Collies to be invited! Congratulations Sandy!
June 28/09- Trick spent the weekend at the USDAA Regional!-3rd in 1st round Grand Prix, Q'd 1st round Steeplechase, 3rd in 2nd round Steeplechase, 2nd in Jumpers. Lots of tough competitors. We are very proud of Trick and Sandy!June13/09 Trick had an awesome weekend, winning 4 out of 6 classes!
Jan17/09-First day of a 4 day AKC agility trial, Trick and Sandy started the weekend with a first place and HIT in Jumpers 20" class, with 40 dogs competing...running 6.4 YPS! Saturday she ran an awesome Standard course, winning 2nd, even working on holding contacts. Mon and Tues brought a 2nd and a 1st in Jumpers, missing HIT by 1/10th of a second...60 dogs in the 20"!! Congratulations Sandy and Trick!! How proud are we!!
**FLASH** November 25, 2007 WE ARE VERY PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT OUR CEDAR FAMILY HAS ITS FIRST MACH! WITH 3 DOUBLE "Q's", IN ONE WEEKEND! WAY TO GO SANDY AND TRICK !
Sandy and Mike Rowan have been our friends since we sent our Cedar son, Sting to live with them in Alaska. That had been almost 9 years prior, and when Sandy found out that Stings brother Bayda, had sired a litter with a perfect little dark red girl in it, she was hooked! So, while they made their way down the rugged west coast of Canada, towards their new home in Oregon, I packed up 'Amaze'.... and with some careful timing, she met her new parents at the Vancouver airport, and continued with them to live in beautiful Oregon!
